About Us

Jigsaw’s Mission is to provide people who present with behaviours of concern with a full functional assessment. We look at peoples behaviours of concern through the Polyvagal Lens. We understand people’s behaviours have served an important function and to change this we need to understand the context and work with them to change this.

 

Many of the people we support have experienced traumatic experiences and we need to understand this in the context of Trauma Informed Care and Maslow’s Hierarchy. All of us must feel safe and as if we belong before real progress will be made.

Our vision is the people we support fulfilling their potential. Our mission is to enable and empower people to live their best life; to live a life full of meaning. We want people to build meaningful relationships and live meaningful experiences. The quality of someone’s life is the measure of our success.

 

We recognise the people we support, our staff and our families have a lot to contribute and offer us. For this reason we aim to involve everyone in everything we do including the day to day running of Jigsaw. We operate in a spirit of co-production. The people we support are really at the heart off all that we do.

 

We are a learning organisation and our culture is about professionalism and  constant cultural transformation and evolution.

 

Our staff and the people we support have co-produced our vision and our Mission Statement. At our center is the commitment to reflection growth and continuous development. We are a dynamic organisation and we are always ready to listen and learn.
